We celebrated our favorite two year old a couple weeks ago! If you know Ava, you know she’s OBSESSED with all things Minnie Mouse. When I was looking up cute ideas, I came across a TWOdles themed birthday party and thought it would be perfect for our little princess!
We moved into our house literally a week before, so in between planning this party, we’ve been ordering stuff for the house and unpacking (hense some of the empty spaces). With the lack of time to order, my next route was Amazon and online shops. I found this door sign which is great because it comes in a digital format for easy printing.
Once inside, I turned our dining room into the treats room. Since our wine wall was well empty, I bought this balloon garland (y’all won’t believe the price!! *hint, under $15). I used several of these tableclothes throughout the house to make for easy cleaning. For the treat bags, I bought these pink bags and these stickers.
It was still over 90 degrees here in Houston, so I knew the majority of the party would be indoors. Our family loves sports, so I knew people would be sitting in the living room. I created a kids coloring table in the middle of everyone. I thought about putting it in a more secluded space, but white walls and two year olds with colors don’t mix. I added this Happy Birthday Banner which was super cute and comes in several other colors!
For food, we went with a local favorite, Pappasitos which is always yummy! I’ve seen some cute hotdog bar ideas if you’re more DIY than catering! We found a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed bounce house which Ava was obsessed with all day!
It was a perfect day celebrating with our family and friends!
