Hello and welcome, I’m so excited to be sharing my Thanksgiving tablescape with you today! This is the first look into our new dining room, so sit back, grab something with pumpkin in it and join me.
I’m going to start by saying I’ve never really been a Fall person. I’ve always jumped from my everyday neutral decor straight to Christmas by mid-October. I’m working on incorporating more fall pieces, and I love a good tablescape, so I figured this was the perfect place to start.
I have lots of blue, whites and creams in my house, so I tried to find a way to tie in elements while still adding warmth with a rusty orange. This centerpiece was super simple. I actually took the bottom part of my 3 tiered server and kept it as my base. TJ Maxx is great to find an assortment of pumpkins, but make sure you look early! This one is very similar in size and price (around $12). The navy and white felt pumpkins were in the Target dollar spot and the velvet and acorns were both DIY projects from Hobby Lobby. The entire centerpiece, minus the stand, was less than $20!
I linked a few of my favorite tiered stands below. These make an AMAZING gift for someone that loves home decor and/or entertaining.
The table runner was actually where the “theme” for my table setting started. I love elements of plaid for Fall and Winter and this one is under $20. I tend to purchase more trendy items for pieces, like table runners and salad plates, that can easily be swapped out.
When it comes to salad plates and stemware, Pier 1 is my go to! These pumpkin plates are from the Buffalo Harvest Collection and add a simple, yet festive touch to the table. When I saw these wine glasses, I loved how they were more of a metal than a solid clear glass. They’re super affordable as well for about $5 a piece. Napkins and napkin ring holders are also from Pier 1.
When it comes to charger plates and dinner plates, these are my staple pieces, both from Crate & Barrel.
