Whether you’re on the road traveling from activity to activity or you’re planning for a trip, look no further! On today’s post, I’m so excited to be partnering with NABISCO Multipacks and sharing easy on-the-go snacks the whole family will enjoy!
Let’s break it down, depending on time. I have 2 methods when it comes to packing snacks.
Happens 5 minutes after we are supposed to leave for school or dance class. I am frantically opening my cabinets and fridge and pulling out anything that can be categorized as a snack into my purse. Most of the time it’s a variety of opened boxes of crackers, a pretty ripe fruit, and a bunch of string cheese. It’s pretty much a hot mess.
When I take all of 3 minutes and prepare a snack box for me or my kids. The snack box has 3-4 simple snacks. You can either use a bento-box or a variety of zip lock bags.
Reasons To Love These On-The-Go Snack Options:
- great snacks to take to school
- great snacks for on-the-go
- great snacks for after school
- great for both kids and adults
- can pack several days worth of snacks all in one go
So let’s get into what everyone actually cares about, what’s in the snacks!
What’s In Each Of These On-The-Go Snacks:
I try to balance out each box so they each have a protein, a fruit or veggie, and then something fun, such as a NABISCO Multipack. These come in a variety of options, but our favorites are the RITZ Bits Variety 20 Count, Snacking Essentials Variety 30 Count, and RITZ Portion Pack 18 Count. And because we are making these in 3 minutes or less, I tried to keep each box loaded with foods that you could have on hand during the week.
- RITZ Bits
- Chips Ahoy!
- OREO Cookies
- sliced or chopped veggies
- variety of cheese slices or sticks
- pre-made pouches
What You Need To Make These On-The-Go Snack Boxes:
- A Bento Box Container
- Plastic Bags
- Reusable Pouches
Doesn’t method 2 sound SO much easier?! Plus, if you make the snack packs at the beginning of the week, you can hide some so mama gets a snack, too! My go-to is OREO Cookies!
Now, let’s get snacking!
